Bid Request for Demolition of Buildings

Bid Request:
USD 350 is accepting bids to demolish a house and outbuildings at 207 E. 6th in St. John. Bids shall be submitted to the district office at 505 N. Broadway (mail), corner of 5th and Monroe (office), in St. John by 4:00pm on October 10, 2024. Bids may also be emailed to meyerj@usd350.com. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Bids should include a total price to demolish the structures down to ground level (or below with backfill to ensure a level lot), remove all debris, and level the parking area with rock similar to what is on the neighboring parking lot. Any hazardous materials found must be disposed of in an approved manner and are the responsibility of the contractor. Bids are to include landfill charges and any and all associated costs. The district will have gas, water, sewer, and electrical disconnected before work begins. The contractor that is awarded the bid must obtain a City of St. John contractor’s license.
