New Restroom/Concession Stand Project

The district is looking to replace the concession stand and restroom facility at the football / track complex. Donations are being collected to spur on this needed project.
Benefits:
- Wheelchair accessible restrooms with multiple stalls and sinks
- No need to added cost of portapots
- Heated and air conditioned building
- Updated concessions with multiple service windows, larger inside area to work
- Added officials room (officials are currently dressing and showering at the school and are transported to the football field)
- Added locker room (currently the football teams are using the scout cabin and pool house for locker rooms)
Facility Uses:
- Restrooms and concessions can be used for activities held at the baseball field
- School district football games and track meets
- Recreation commission track meets and football games
- Activities at Brown Park could utilize the building
- Elementary field day track meet
Approximate Cost of Project:
- $150,000-$175,000
- School has committed $75,000
- Community support needed $100,000
Project Timeline:
- Hopeful to start construction on project Spring/Summer 2024
- Goal is to be completed Spring of 2025 when USD 350 St. John/Hudson will be hosting the league track meet. If completed as soon as Fall 2024, building could be utilized for Fall Sports of next school year.
