Education Foundation

The St. John/Hudson USD 350 Educational Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation started in 2000. It was established to allow patron, alumni, and businesses to provide additional resources to USD 350. This foundation is an IRS non-profit organization designed exclusively for charitable purposes.

Our Mission:

  • Enhance the quality of education for all St. John/Hudson students
  • Provide a way for patrons, businesses and organization to contribute to the educational mission of St. John/Hudson Schools
  • Increase community involvement
  • Encourage communications between communities and our school

Our Goals:

  • Facilities development 
  • Enrichment activities and programs
  • Technology advancement
  • School site beautification
  • Classroom grants
  • Student scholarships
  • Student and staff recognition
  • Student emergency aid 

Recent Projects:

  • Farm-to-School Program (for beef processing)
  • Computers and iPads for classrooms
  • Elementary classroom doors
  • Football field sprinkler system
  • Gym bleachers
  • New basketball goals
  • Computers and iPads for the LIFE after-school program
  • Local scholarships (ongoing)
  • Library funding (ongoing)

The bleachers in the main gym were provided in part by generous donations from community members through the Education Foundation.

Foundation funds are held in a local checking account and also invested with the South Central Community Foundation in Pratt.

Ways to give to the Foundation:

*Direct Gifts: includes donations of cash, securities, personal property or real estate.

*Recognition Gifts: cash gifts to honor a person or special occasion.

*Memorial Gifts: money donated to honor a deceased relative or friend.

*Bequests: Gifts written in your will.

*Scholarship Funds: contributions to existing funds or creation of new scholarship funds.

*Unrestricted Gifts: money donated to the foundation for unspecified use.
