USD 350 School Closing Information
When adverse weather makes it necessary to close or delay school, every effort will be made to make this decision by 5:00 am on a school day. This is not always feasible and the decision will be made as soon as is practical.
School may be delayed by two hours if is anticipated that driving conditions will improve. If school is delayed by two hours, there will be no morning preschool and no breakfast served. Once students are in the building, school will only be dismissed early in extreme cases.
When school is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, school activities and practices are usually also cancelled.
- School closing/delay information will be sent to parents and staff via the school messaging system. Please contact the school office to inquire about the messaging system or find information on our website.
